Well, another year has come to an end, and a new one is beginning. Time to reflect on the events and news that happened in the Village of Pangman in 2009.
- In May Pangman Charity Farms seeded a half section of land dedicated to raising money for Pangman School.
- On June 22nd A metrological tower was erected June 22nd and 23rd, 2 1/2 miles south of the east entrance to Pangman.
- In late June the Farmer’s Market started and was held every Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and ended on Saturday, October 31st.
- In July the Swimming Pool was re-opened. In September the school children were able to spend a few nice days at the pool.
- In August the new Playground equipment was set up.
- On August 24th, Pangman receives funding for upgrades to our water treatment plant.
- In the summer Pangman received a grant for a Day Care which has been approved for opening in September 2010.
- In September the Village of Pangman website was launched.
- In October we had our annual Fall Supper and Wall of Fame ceremony.
- On November 10th Charity Farms harvested the crop on the half section they seeded in May.
- On December 5th the annual School Craft Bazaar and Santa Day were held.
- On December 12th a Community Christmas Sing-along was held at the Abundant Living Church.
- On December 17th the Annual Sleigh Ride was held.
