On Friday, February 26th, the Pangman Rockathon was held at the Deep South Personal Care Home to raise funds for Telemiracle and the Deep South Personal Care Home. This Rockathon has been held for the last 10 years or so at the home.
This year we had 25 people rocking, and each rocked for 1 hour. Total raised by the Rockathon was $3,287.00, of which $1635.50 for Telemiracle and $1651.50 for the Home.
Entertainment was provided by Gary Penner, who played guitar and sang; Blaine Morrison from Stoughton who played piano and sang and the band RY Ramblers. We would like to thank these musicians for volunteering their time and for entertaining the rockers and seniors at the home.
We would also like to thank all those who rocked and those who sponsored the rockers. As well as those who volunteered their time to make the Rockathon a success.
